Competitors from Ghana have excelled in the past three editions of the competition, since its inception in 2012. The 4th edition outreach with students, researchers and some communities has peaked a few weeks to the deadline for the submission of proposals.
Commenting on the 4th edition campaign, the National Coordinator of the Ghana programme, Kwabena Addo, urged the competitors to eschew complacency and work towards achieving the top prize and other category prizes.
“You should be conscious of Ghana’s rich experience and enviable record in the Quarry Life Award and strive for excellence, bearing you mind all the instructions and guidelines of the competition. “ He noted.
Kwabena Addo encouraged competitors to expedite work on their proposals in order to submit on or before the November, 2017 deadline.
