Our team spent the last week in February at the Beposo Quarry catching bats. We spent the first day familiarizing ourselves with the landscape and its habitats. At night we mounted our mist nets to catch some bats. The quarry was not operational at the time of our visit, it had suspended work for nearly 2 years. So we started our work right at the site of the quarry because vegetation were seen at some places. Afterwards, we continued sampling the other vegetation surrounding the quarry. After our trip, we had five species of bats in total. Two were insectivorous bats and the other three were frugivorous.
